Agent Banter is a voice-AI playground for staging conversations between two AI agents — and just hitting play.
What it does
Describe two characters, give them a topic, pick a voice for each, and listen. The agents talk to each other live — not pre-rendered audio — so every conversation is one-off. Save the ones you like, publish the ones you love.
How it works
Each agent is a Gemini Live session with a unique system prompt and voice. They take turns speaking; the transcript writes itself as they go. There is no second human in the loop — the personas you write are the whole show.
Why we built it
Most AI demos put you on one side of the conversation. We wanted the opposite — agents talking to each other, with you as the audience. The interesting moments come from the gap between two strong personas, not from clever prompting on a single bot.
What it costs
Nothing. There is no signup, no paywall, and no API key to configure — just open a banter and press play. Talks, transcripts, likes, and comments live in your browser's localStorage. Signing in with Google is optional and only adds your name and picture to the site.
Status
Agent Banter is a prototype, shipped fast on purpose. Expect rough edges. Bring feedback — or better, build the feature you wish existed and send it back.
